The singlespeed Fuchecco is in someways the daughter of “La Blè“. When the latter went to live with Checco, he gave us, as a gift to Biascagne Cicli, a Pinarello Victory. From the start she arrived with layers of mud and rust. ” Let me know if you guys come up with something good”, he said… Well this is the result and I hope it lived up to his expectations. The irony is that now the Fuchecco is the bike rode by his partner PPP.
With this successful singlespeed conversion the cycle tinker office of Biascagne gains a new member of the honorary: FM, who achieved the look and style of these stunning handlebars in wood for us, and is enthusiastic in producing others in rapid succession, one more beautiful then the next.
In particular the manubrio in legno (handlebars) of this bike are set in oak with a mahogany inlay.
The CBL wooden 700 rims are, naturally, for tubulars and are very well made.
Also with this singlespeed, as in the GF Profuso, there is a Velosteel coaster brake hub.
The splendid Brooks B17 Special green seat is adorned with hand hammered copper rivets and accompanied by a matching frame.
